Radium
In 2002, the Anne Arundel County Health Department began regulating the depths of new wells drilled in the northern section of the county due to high levels of radium found in the area well water. The radium was found in the shallow sections of the aquifers supplying the well water. The new wells, therefore, would need to be drilled to a deeper level in the aquifer.
Allied has been the leader in the drilling of these deeper "Radium Wells" since the regulation was put in place. With the finest equipment and crews in the area, we can drill "Radium Wells" in and efficient and cost effective manner, saving the customer time and money.
